Emma and Charlotte are here to share some important swimming pool safety rules for kids. These rules will help keep children safe while they have fun in the pool!

1. Always swim with a buddy. It’s important for children to never swim alone. Accidents can happen quickly, so having a buddy nearby can be lifesaving.

2. Follow the “touch” rule. Children should always stay within arm’s reach of an adult or supervisor while in the pool.

3. Follow the pool rules. Children should listen to and follow the rules set by the pool or pool staff, such as no running or diving in shallow water.

4. Wear appropriate swimwear. Children should wear swimsuits made for swimming, rather than heavy street clothes or underwear.

5. Learn to float and swim. Children should be taught basic swimming skills like floating and treading water to help them stay safe in the water.

6. Know how to exit the pool safely. Children should know how to exit the pool using the steps or ladder, and where to find the nearest exit in case of an emergency.

7. Stay hydrated. Encourage children to drink plenty of water before and after swimming to prevent dehydration.

8. Use sunscreen. Children should use sunscreen to protect their skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays, especially during peak hours of the day.

9. Do not swallow pool water. Teach children not to drink or swallow pool water, as it can contain bacteria and other contaminants.

10. Follow pool safety rules. Children should not push or horseplay in the pool, and should respect the boundaries of designated swimming areas.

By teaching children these pool rules, we can help keep them safe and ensure they have a fun time at the pool. Don’t forget to subscribe for notifications to new videos and check out our latest videos playlist. You can also download the Toys and Colors App for more fun activities!
