Ellie is attempting to create a stack of dominoes when Eric starts dribbling a ball around her. Despite Ellie’s request for focus, Eric’s basketball game unintentionally causes her dominoes to fall, resulting in a small disagreement about who was there first. Auntie Beth intervenes and suggests they play together. After some consideration, they agree and we see them happily lining up dominoes and knocking them down. They then switch to playing basketball together before Ellie decides to return to her dominoes game.
Lesson Learned:
This incident teaches kids the importance of respecting each other’s space and activities and the enjoyment that can be found when they choose to play together instead of arguing.
