“This story took place a long time ago, during a beautiful summer, when everything was green, and the sun was shining proudly over the plains and the forests. At the edge of a puddle, hidden from the eyes of the animals of prey, a duck had made its nest and was brooding her eggs. Before the chicks were hatched, the duck was really bored because no one would come to visit her. Her friends preferred to splash around in the water instead of keeping her company. And then, the time came for the ducklings to see the light of day. First, one egg cracked open, and then another one, and then another one, until all of them had cracked… with the exception of one. This egg seemed to be bigger and stranger than the rest of the eggs…”
